Emergency & Urgent Care

We're here to support you and your pet during a time of urgency.

One of the scariest parts of a pet owner’s life is realizing their companion needs care that they can’t provide. Unfortunately, this is a situation that many people face. Town & Country Veterinary Hospital is here to support you and your pet during a time of urgency. Our emergency veterinary care center has everything needed to diagnose and care for your pet no matter what time of day.

When to Seek Urgent Care for a Pet

Sometimes, it’s difficult to know for sure when we can wait out a sickness or injury that our pets are experiencing.

After all, they can’t verbally communicate what they are experiencing, so it can be difficult to interpret their feelings. There are, however, some instances where you should bring your pet into an emergency care center like Town & Country Veterinary Hospital. Bring your pet in to see us immediately if they experience any of the following:

  • Visually distorted, broken, or fractured bone(s)
  • Extreme dehydration caused by prolonged vomiting or diarrhea
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Signs of pain or distress
  • Excessive bleeding
  • Seizures

There are many other emergency situations not covered in the above list. If you are ever unsure whether your pet needs immediate veterinary care, we’d love to hear from you. We want to care for your companion just as much as you want them to be safe.
